A special event entitled RUSSIAN ROULETTE held on March 14-15 at the Sydney Opera House Studio (featuring us and VulgarGrad) was a great success! If you missed it you'll have to come next year.

The Waltz of Emptiness is the best Australian World Music album of 2005 according to the Rhythms magazine readers' poll.

Zulya and the Children of the Underground released a special "DELUXE" edition of The Waltz of Emptiness featuring 5 track bonus DVD "LIVE at Bennett's Lane", Melbourne, recorded by the ABC Radio National on Jan 23, 2005, and an animated video clip made by studio neko, Melbourne. The creation of the video was supported by the Australia Council for the Arts.

The Waltz of Emptiness in the top 20 of the European World Music Charts for 4 months ( top 10 in July!).

In March and April 05 Zulya took part in Women in Voice-14, a popular cabaret show, featuring talents of Barbara Fordham, Kate Miller-Heidke, Jenny Morris, Alison St.Ledger and Queenie van de Zandt in Brisbane and Sydney.
